I am a Senior Character Artist with 7 years industry experience, 4 of those undertaking Lead duties whilst making high quality AA and AAA character assets. I have strong communication skills, I’m receptive to feedback and continuously adapt to the needs of any project. I do not shy away from the technical side of art such as material creation, UDIM workflows and I have a practical and active interest in learning new tools and software.
o Leading a team of Character Artists, helping them improve their skills and providing feedback whilst promoting a positive work environment.
o Working closely with Art Directors, Concept Artists, Animation and Outsource teams to ensure character assets are suitable for artistic and gameplay needs.
o Creating optimised, high-quality characters efficiently no matter the art style or platform.
o Extensive experience and strong artistic fundamentals in both realistic and stylised rendering styles. Excellent knowledge of anatomy and form, materials, texturing, hard surface and hair creation. Strong technical knowledge, understand optimised topology, good UV layouts and sensible material usage.
